Good Jobs For College Students

Good Jobs For College Students

As a college student myself, I know the difficulties in finding a good job that is both flexible and pays well.  Having the flexibility in terms of work hours is so important for us because of our school schedules, and still wanting to have time to enjoy other activities.  The majority of the times, these types of flexible jobs are low-paying and not very exciting, but there are good-paying jobs out there and I’ll show you how to find them.  I’m going to show you which are good jobs for college students that are the highest paying jobs that are flexible, how to search for those jobs both online and offline, and how to land one of these jobs with ease. The best category of job I’ve ever done, and still do, that both pays really well and you can do any time or the day – or night for that matter – is filling out surveys online.  This will end up paying you around $20 an hour! It does get a little boring after a while because you’re repeatedly typing in your name and address and what not, but there are a couple things you can do to make it go faster and be less painful.  Firstly, play music in the background.  This will help keep you going and moving faster – I promise.

Secondly, use your internet browser’s save info function whereby when you start typing in something familiar into a line, ie. Your name, it will automatically recognize what you’re trying to type and will auto-finish it.  This will save you about 30% of your time.  To find these surveys, all you have to do is search Google for survey companies and proceed to fill them out.  It really is just that easy!

Good jobs for college students come in many shapes and sizes.  Another thing to look for are sales companies.  Sales companies usually allow for students to work with them because when they’re commission-based, they have nothing to lose.  This is good for you because it enables you to work according to your schedule, in any manner fitting to you – phone, email or even dropping by in person to visit would-be customers.  I did this simultaneously with the surveys and believe me; you can make more money than any of your friends in school.  The trick is to stay away from sales companies like Cutco and the like.  You want to find a real company that isn’t a door-to-door scheme; otherwise you’ll end of wasting most of your time.

In closing, there are tons of good jobs for college students available and now that I’ve shown you what to look for, and how to get those jobs you can be making more than $30k a year while you in school with not too much extra work.  Best of luck!
